The way it rolls back over it self and it creates creases doesn’t have a good look appeal to it.Its auto roll back function is failed and I have to do it manually now which defeats the purpose.Overall the quality is good but it’s functionality is very very poorHonestly, I would have said at the start of recommend it but with some use over time. I would now say – avoid it

I received this product very quickly. This gate is great quality and very easy to install, there are two ways to install it, screws and sticky pads are provided. I didn’t want to screw it to my wall or stick it directly to the wall, so I glued it to the cabinet. My dog is a bit naughty and has to be spaced out when preparing food for her. This gate is wide enough to pull open so I can prepare my dog’s food in peace. It also has a lock to hold the gate retractable, like a roll-up door, which is also a great space saver and just what I needed.

We have a couple of these and this is the worst one we have bought. Creases when closes. We paid 69.99 for this so not happy at all with purchase. We would have returned but already unpacked and installed.

This is by far the worst product I have ever purchased on Amazon.The mechanism is terribly stiff and once it tries to retract it becomes entangled on itself.Unfortunately I used the adhesive strips so now I’m going to research how to get it off.Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

So extremely disappointed by this product. When up it flips in the middle, not suitable for purpose. After removing it from the walls to send back, it has ripped my paint off completely! Absolutely infuriating

We have a gap of 2 meters (separating the living room and dining room) that I had previously tried to find a gate for, but gave up.When I saw this one offered on the Vine programme and it could cover gaps up to 4m I had to try it.It comes with 2 sets of fastenings… one to attach with screws and another with a bigger base to apply sticky pads.I opted for the sticky pads first, to see how well they attach and I’m very impressed. I success would depend on the surface you are attempting to stick to, but my walls seem to do the job.It’s very easy to line up the brackets, and once everything was attached and I’d given it time for the sticky pads to settle I popped the gate on and closed off the dining room.Firstly, it’s not a solid gate… it’s on a roller so is very much like a roller blind. Once you’ve slotted the end into its holding bracket you ‘lock’ the roller, to prevent it extending further out – so if someone pushes against it, it doesn’t pull. Very useful and although it doesn’t feel as solid as a solid gate would, it seems to be doing the job of keeping the baby in the room.We got this mainly for when we’re sat in one room on an evening, as the baby has a tendancy to wander and we’re forever having to check on him in the other room… this device gives us peace of mind and really seems to do the job.Recommended product.

Great build quality but you really need to study the instructions before deciding where and how to install it with the appropriate fittings. It works in a similar way to a very strong, horizontal roller blind but the blind is also lockable.The 400 cm model is probably going to be wide enough for a typical ‘knocked-through’ lounge/diner. Other sizes are available and might be better for smaller openings.It’s very easy to use the hidden button to lift the whole thing off its mountings when not needed. It could also be useful in a situation where you want to keep the babies safe from the marauding hordes of five-year-olds in the same room.My chief tester is one year old and only just walking but I would be wary of larger toddlers (or pets) pulling or swinging on the curtain rather than just bumping into it and going about their business.By the way, the gate doesn’t work well with cats, rabbits, horses or birds! Otherwise, highly recommended.

Es la única barrera de este tipo que hemos encontrado por esta medida y ahora entiendo la razón. Necesitamos los 4 metros y al volver a enrollarla ya el primer día no tiene tensión suficiente para hacerlo sin que se produzcan dobleces.Muy descontento

Dependiendo del uso que se le quiera dar al producto la valoración varía. Si no se va a recoger con frecuencia, el producto es muy bueno, buena calidad y terminados. Sin embargo, si como en nuestro caso, su función es extender y recoger varias veces al día no es muy funcional, pues cuesta recogerlo, sobre todo si se abre por completo… 4 metros. Debería de ir mas reforzado tanto en la parte superior como en la inferior. Así sería mas práctica la apertura y cierre. Nuestra baja calificación se basa solamente en eso. Si tuvieran otro mas reforzado seguimos estando interesados, ya que el resto nos gusta mucho.
