I have a larger than average 1yr old who is really very strong and found out that in his previous high chair he could bounce it across the kitchen. With this being less than ideal and us having to tether him to the kitchen table, we decided to upgrade to a more suitable, heavier designed highchair that can grow with him.The design of this chair is solid as a rock, it can be adjusted as needed with the change of a few screws etc. The assembly is easy enough, but can be fairly fiddly balancing heavy wooden pieces and trying to thread screws so would recommend a second pair of hands.I personally love that he feels super secure in this, the straps as so easy to take off and wash and the chair is easy to wipe clean for the next use. It goes well in the kitchen and tucks beautifully under the table when not in use. I have also perched on this occasionally when gathered round the table and it takes my weight (60kg) and feels very sturdy so I have faith that this will last for many years to come.A little more on the expensive side, however I would undoubtedly buy this again in the future if ever I needed it and I wished I had bought this in the beginning, as the cheap option I initially chose was most definitely not the best one as it did not last us more than 6 months.

After loving the look of the Tripp trapp high chair and impressed with the reviews for it but being less impressed by the price, I decided to really look at other similar chairs that were more affordable and decided on the Huack alpha+ and I have zero negatives to say about it so far!Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but like the Tripp trapp, I love that you can buy the additional tray and newborn seat if needed. We bought this for our baby at 6 months, so the newborn seat wasn’t required, though I did buy the additional tray which I highly recommend to others. The tray is quite structured and has a bar that goes between the baby’s legs, which really helped my little boy from slipping down as he is quite petite (<9th centile) and looks tiny compared to most conventional high chairs. But even when the high chair and tray has been used by my much bigger 18 month old nephew (99th centile), I would say getting the additional tray is still worth it as you can remove the tray for easy cleaning and the baby won’t have smeared food over your dining room table, especially if you’re following baby led weaning. The chair itself is excellent quality and very sturdy but doesn’t take up too much room and due to its design can be pushed in under the table (if not using the tray attachment.) My husband was able to assemble it easily enough, though did find that to fit the tray attachment he had to partly dissemble the chair to fit the tray attachment and then rebuild it, however this wasn’t too much trouble and didn’t take too long.As no tiny nooks or crannies like in conventional high chairs, it’s very easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth after use. Also lots of wipeable cushions that fit the Hauck alpha available on Amazon/other online retailers if you want your child to have some padding to make them more comfortable whilst in the chair.Overall I love the chair and this has been one of my favourite baby purchases! Can’t be beaten for the price.

Bought for my nearly 5year old she needed a chair with a harness that she can sit at table instead off a baby high chair she was too big for her mamas and papas one she has disability so won’t sit on normal chair throws herself off so this really works for her she loves it that much she keeps crying to get back in the chair and sits at the table playing with toys I think the foot rest should be able to move down more tho since it’s advertised for up to adulthood has my daughters legs are not too long yet but not far off I also think getting the cushions is best had it makes it more comfortable as it’s just a wooden chairWas easy to assemble but found it tricky getting the harness through the hole in wooden seat but managed eventually is easy to adjust as child grows too

This product is really well made which is good because it is meant to adapt for use from baby to adult. It was a little fiddly to put together but I wouldn’t let that put you off. Our baby loves sitting here and it fits in really well with the chairs we already have.

Great quality and looks really nice. Took me a while to find a chair for my son that did not cost a fortune. I tried this one and I’m really happy with it.Easy to assemble, looks really beautiful and its very safe! Our little one loves this chair.Recommended product!

What a faff to assemble! Once assembled, my baby absolutely loved it so all good! You need a lot of patience with this item! Every time I was trying to assemble the backrest which has 2 parts, one would always fall out whilst assembling the other…. got there in the end tho. Also need to mention that there are no indication of how far the seat plate and foot rest is supposed to go so you sort of have to guess.I got the grey one and when putting on and removing the tray base ( bought separately) the paint chipped on the first go, I thought it would be a bit better quality.Don’t get me wrong, the chair itself is amazing and sturdy, just the way it needs to be assembled is a nightmare…it is worth the money as my boy is very happy in it!!!

My 2 year old has slipped out of the chair and injured himself several times. This is caused when the seat has slid out of the grooves leaving him hanging by the harness. We weighed our 2 year old and he is below 15Kg. Also everything has been secured multiple times. This issue keeps repeating and is clearly a defective chair. The chair was okay for the first 6 months. But now it seems loose and is continuously happening!

stabil
die Schrauben weisen auf eine schlechte Qualität und somit das zusammenbauen etwas holprig aber das Endergebnis ist super. Stabil, gute Holzqualität und optisch ein Hingucker
