Ring Stacking and Counting Game
Stacking, sorting and matching colours and number to the correct peg is endless fun. Learn weight, size and fine motor skills.
When your kid discovers the Wooden Ring Stacking and Counting Game they will be drawn first to the stacking the coloured rings and sorting the right colour of the rings to match the pegs. Kids will find it satisfying when they have completed each peg with the right colour and number of rings. Kids practice their fine motor skills, holding small rings familiarising themselves with weight, height using their hands for more delicate holding and placing of objects.
Learn the abstract concept of numbers through counting the dots on the tiles and rings
There is neither peg nor ring at the zero so it helps kids to understand the concept of zero. Counting the red dots on the tile or the number of rings on the pegs will help children to understand the abstract meaning of numbers. This toy will help your child to be engrossed in problem solving and mathematical inquisitiveness; which will be a useful tool in everyday early in their lives.
Improve small motor skills, imagination and creative thinking
Children’s inquisitive and playful minds will enjoy rich and bright colour rings and use them to make creative patterns, shape and objects. It is fun toy for children to learn colours, numbers, counting, and simple math and also help to improve their small motor skills, imagination and creative thinking. It can be used as a teaching tool at home and school for math and Montessori learning.
A toy will leave your kids challenged and engrossed!

Creating endless patterns with rings & tilesThis tool does not just develop the left logical and mathematical side of the brain but cultivates the right creative and intuitive side of the brain. The rings are tactile, smooth and curved and can be used to create images & pictures and stacked together to form shapes and objects. Learn to differentiate between the height and weight and practice fine motor skills holding, clasping and grabbing the rings. |
3 methods of learning and understand numbersLearn the numbers 0 – 9 using real quantities by placing rings on each peg. The blue peg only needs 1 blue ring whilst the red peg needs 9 pegs to be complete. Each number tile is painted a different colour and matches red number dots so young ones can learn to link the number of the symbol representing the amount. |
A perfect learning and educational toolThis is a great teaching tool for the classroom, creche, preschool & kindergarten. It can be used as an educational toy or activity to work with a child closely. Work together to complete the various mini-sections of the toy a rewarding way and build confidence with numbers. Certainly not a just baby ‘s toy. |

Parents in Touch –
This is a really well designed set for toddlers, with great attention paid to safety and durability. There are five pegs affixed to the solid wood base and chunky rings which are easy for little ones to handle. The chunky rings come in five colours (1 pale blue, 2 dark blue, 3 green, 4 yellow and 5 red) and they match the colours on the base, giving toddlers experience of colour matching. Young ones can count up to 15 as they go and as children get older, they can learn to take away as well as learning the concepts of more and less. The clever feature comes with the flexible pegs which are secured by strong string to the base, meaning the pegs will bend if a baby fell on it – a really reassuring safety feature. It’s extra fun for the child too, as they ‘ping’ the pegs over… and over… and over. It’s also an ideal toy for developing hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills. The toy is suitable for 1year and up and Toys of Wood Oxford sensibly advise that parents or other adults are present to supervise and enjoy the interaction of children with this toy. It’s a really well made toy, chunky and very satisfying to play with, and the vibrant paint colours make it very attractive.

This is a great little toy for the money, ideal for ny 2 year old. It’s nicely made and it comes in a decently strong cardboard box, perfect for storing it on a shelf etc. Pleased with my purchase.
Mrs K Hancock –
Looks well made but it’s a christmas present so not sure yet

Toy is lovely. But I don’t know what numpty decided to stick the delivery sticker all over the box so now the gift has a huge sticker plastered all over it… tried to remove it and the box is really sticky. Not ideal as a gift for this reason!

This toy is exactly as a brilliant Montessori toy should be – aesthetically pleasing, good to handle, and lots of fun. My three year old daughter headed straight in with creating her own games; the other great thing about the toy is that all the pieces “fit” in various ways, so there is no “right” way to do it (unless an interfering adult insists that you can’t put 8 next to 3!). However, as well as matching counting rings to corresponding number tabs adjacent, colours also coordinate, so even a child still just learning their numbers (my three year old) can see how the colours coordinate and learn the sequences that way. Having said that, my nine year old was delighted to play with it too! I just have to keep the toy away from the baby – some of the parts are quite small.
Fiona Clarke –
Nice brightly coloured wooden toy. Would be better if dowels were fixed and not on elastic (but may then snap if roughly handled). Beads stack nicely, good small hands size.
Sue –
Great toy to help with dexterity and colours. Well made and bright colours. My little grandson loves the very hungry Caterpillar book and this lovely wooden toy is a good addition to our toy box

I LOVE this simple wooden toy. It is very easy to use and stimulate fun and educational activities. i use it with patients as cognitive therapy and they are all fascinated by the colours and easy stacking system. Really good value for money, a lovely size, just right for small (or arthritic!) hands and can be placed on floor or a table to play with. Nicely finsished and beautifully painted. Staff at work wanted them for their children and i have passed on Toys of Wood as a trusted and recommended company to buy these lovely toys from.

Tolles Spielzeug
Die Kinder lieben es. Besonders toll sind die beweglichen senkrechten Hölzer, dadurch ist kaum eine verletzungsmöglichkeit gegeben zb bei Sturz. Sehr schöne Farben.
