Easy to assemble, excellent cot with teething rails. Looks very nice when set up, and certainly does the job. The only issue is that the drop side is a bit fiddly and probably needs some lubrication to work without making too much noise to wake the child (but in part it is because of the need to design a drop side that wont collapse). The dropside also takes a bit of time to get used to, but once have the hang of it, you can do one handed (which, lets face it, is important!). The three mattress heights are good – we are using the highest setting at the moment and that is very convenient for the 5 month old. The drawer underneath is visible when the mattress base is set on the higher of the 3 levels (there is no seperate base which covers the underlying draw) – not a huge issue but you will see what is inside.Customer service was also excellent – had a piece that was damaged by the courier. I emailed the vendor and they posted a replacement part out straight away.

Really pleased with this. It took a while to assemble but it’s so sturdy it more than makes up for it!! You can secure the dropside so it doesn’t drop at all with the drawer. If i really wanted to split hairs it would be that you can see what’s in the drawer when the Base is set at the two higher settings and there’s no handle on the drawer to pull out. That’s it, it was delivered very quickly, it’s fantastic quality and looks so smart! Very pleased!!

Bought this as the next cot for our daughter after she outgrew her initial one. It has been excellent as you can start off with the mattress at the highest level as then lower it as they get older. You can use the handy drop side so you aren’t stretching too far, and eventually take the one side off when they can get in and out themselves. It has been great value and quality, and was fairly easy to construct. Just took a few hours one evening. The under bed drawer is also superb for storing the bedding etc. There weren’t too many cot beds around that had this number of features for the money when we researched them, and it has proven to be the right choice. We are now looking to use it for our 1 year old who has about outgrown her cot. We have lost the bolts that attach the removable side, but contacted the company who said they would send some more. Hopefully these will arrive soon so we can use this bed for a few more years.

The cot looks fantastic. It’s sturdy, smart attractive. It’s very difficult to put together, My darling husband spent ages and did a great job but we found the drop side was stiff, noisy and kept catching and banging as it went up and down which rendered it unusable when putting a sleeping baby to bed. Babymore were initially helpful (the assembly instructions are awful) and referred us to a youtube video which confirmed we had done it correctly. Eventually (after several calls and emails with videos demonstrating we had put it together properly) they sent out replacement parts for the drop side mechanism and we became aware that some of the metal components are more stiff than others and it was this that was causing the problem. Also, you should be able to push in fasteners which enables the drop side to come off/ on so you can adjust the height of the cot slats. The holes on ours are in the wrong place but you can just take the whole legs off to achieve the same outcome!Bottom line is you will love this when it arrives but you really have to persevere and trouble shoot to get it working satisfactorily. It would be great if someone from babymore could assemble them at home for you (for a cost) to save the fuss! The drawer operates on a basic mechanism (pull / push, no runners) but it does the job just fine

The cotbed I received arrived in a very beat up box but the items inside were individually wrapped in foam which helped. It was obviously refurbished as I could see minor repairs and there were dents/chips here and there, but nothing major. Instructions could have been a little clearer but assembling the bed was fine, except the drop side mechanism didn’t work. After a frustrating time I figured out the problem and it was because the wrong mechanism was screwed in on the right side (it was the same as the left one but upside down). After emailing babymore they sent me a new set of the plastic mechanisms and I was able to fix it. However I then found out that there is a load snap as the dropside locks into place which would dissuade me from using it when trying to put a baby to sleep.Overall the bed is ok I guess but the main problem is the dropside is very noisy when it engages/disengages and on reflection I would not purchase this product again. Then again maybe all dropsides have this problem, in any event I was left thinking I should have just bought a fixed side if I cant use the dropside but too lazy to send it all back (delivery company they use cannot give you a time or advise if it will be a morning/afternoon/evening delivery, so you pretty much have to book a day off and wait).
