Where can I place my gate?

The gate can be used at the top or bottom of the stairs and in door frames. Ensure that the wall, door frame or support to which you fix the barrier is solid, stable, smooth and is non-greasy. The safety barrier must not be fitted across windows.

Can I use the gate on any stairwell? For e.g. spiral staircase, staircase with handrail

The gate can be used at the top or bottom of the stairs if they have 2 parallel support – ensure that this is solid, stable, smooth and non-greasy. Y-spindles make it possible to fix a gate onto a ramp, a balustrade or any other cylindrical upright.

    I needed the gate to snap shut on pushing it to close. Because of my 6 year old…i don’t trust her to click a regular baby gate into place manually. This gate is supposed to do that…it’s out of box and husband put it in place. It doesn’t auto click shut. No good. Not worth the money and the nonsense of trying to return it

    I really like the auto close mechanism on this gate, not found another that works as well. That being said, I’ve now bought 3 gates as the auto close mechanism only seems to last about a year before it stops swinging shut… shame.

    Does the job I miss measured the space so had to buy the extensions but works great easy to open with no problem better to have one bit down as gate will swing if you leave it off, would recommend
